The Golden Triangle Tour is one of the most iconic and popular tours starting from the capital of India—New Delhi, to the Pink City—Jaipur, via the Taj Nagari—Agra. This 6 days tour begins in Delhi taking you to Agra and then Jaipur. The tour starts with visits to several historical as well as religious sites in the Indian capital. Trip Itinerary

Day 01:  Flight from Kathmandu to Delhi: 1hour 30 mins

After Visa processing, you will take an hour and a half long flight to New Delhi. The flight will give you some spectacular views of the Himalayas and flatlands. Check-in at the hotel.

Day 02:  Sightseeing in Delhi.

After breakfast, we head out to explore the wonder that Delhi is. Seeped in history, you can observe the remnants of the Delhi Sultanate, the Mughals, and the British Raj. It includes places such as Humayun’s Tomb, India Gate, and Lotus Temple, which is the Bahá'í Houses of Worship in Asia. At the end of the day, you get to enjoy a light and sound show at Red Fort. Overnight at the hotel.

Day 03:  Drive from Delhi to Agra (4 hours) and sightseeing, Overnight at Agra.

After breakfast, you drive to Agra and enter the state of Uttar Pradesh. The Taj Mahal, located by the banks of Yamuna River, is an ivory marble mausoleum built by Mughal Emperor Shah Jahan for his wife Mumtaz Mahal and is one of the UNESCO World Heritage sites in India. The beautiful lawns in front add to the beauty that Taj Mahal is. There are intricate beautiful floral patterns and details on the walls of the Mahal, which makes it more charming to look at. You will also visit other Mughal palaces here. Overnight at the hotel.

Day 04:  Drive from Agra to Jaipur and sightseeing. O/N at Jaipur

After breakfast, you make your way to Jaipur in the state of Rajasthan, which too is steeped in history. The state is famous for beautiful forts and palaces built by the Kings that once ruled over the city. The lavish lifestyle can be seen on the outlook of the city as soon as you enter the Pink City. The City Palace, the Hawa Mahal, Amer Fort, Albert Hall Museum, and the Pink City walls are few of the historical monuments you will be visiting. Overnight at the hotel.

Day 05:  Drive from Jaipur to Delhi.

After breakfast, you will take the National Highway to Delhi. Flight options are also available. On reaching Delhi overnight at the hotel.

Day 06:  Flight back to Kathmandu

You will take a flight to Kathmandu again, allowing you to enjoy a beautiful view of the Himalayas before landing at Tribhuvan International Airport.
